Help us Refurbish Badr!
Asalamualaykum dear reader,
Alhamdulillah the month of Ramadan is just around the corner and we are oh so excited!! This year, for the first time ever, we will be fundraising for Badr Academy in order to raise enough money to refurbish the entire building. Since its launch in 2009, Badr has mostly been running off student fees, and in order to accommodate for our students, we keep the fees to a minimum. This means that our income from student fees just about allows us to cover costs. As a result, the institution itself has become very worn down over the years. This year we want to raise money to change this. Please take out some time to watch the short video below by our department manager, Ustadh Yahya Raaby who explains the project in more detail.
