Saturday mornings from 9am - 1:30pm.
This course is aimed at students at students who cannot speak the Arabic Language. It aims to enhance the students’ overall competence in the Arabic Language as well as their academic and communicative skills.
The main focus is on key language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking whilst developing and understanding of these skills and strategies of improvement. Additionally, students will be prepared for the more extensive use of language they will encounter in more advanced studies. The methodology is interactive and task-based, requiring students to participate fully in groups, pairs and individually. This course opens the opportunity to embark in a study of more advanced Arabic and Islamic Sciences.
Classes take place once a week. All timings for the classes are listed below and you are able to choose the most convenient time slot for yourself, subject to availability.
As with most adult learning institutions, this course relys heavily on students’ independent learning. Commitment and determination are essential to studying at Badr.
We understand that weekends can be busy for all of us. Work and family commitments are important for every person. However, with this course being only once a week, we have a strict attendance policy and students must attend over 90% of classes to avoid disciplinary action.
Independent learning is essential to this course. We say that it’s 60% in the classroom and 40% outside the classroom. As the levels increase, so will the homework.
Badr Academy like many other private education institutes depend on fees to maintain operation and it is for this reason we charge for our courses. The Arabic course costs £1000/year. Note: Payment plans are available to spread the cost out, find out more when you speak to a staff member.
